Whitehouse Farm Centre’s 21st birthday spectacular is coming!

Best known and loved as one of the region’s top visitor attractions, Whitehouse Farm Centre near Morpeth is celebrating 21 years of ‘farmtastic’ fun with a spectacular birthday party this weekend (7 to 8 July).

The party of the year is not one to be missed with a two-day event that is jam packed with fun and activities for the whole family!

Farm mascot, Nelson the Pig, will be leading the festivities with his party games, fun fair, fairground rides and much, much more!

Visitors can get dizzy on the tea cup rides and fly high on the swings! Footie fans can try their luck in the penalty shoot-out, circus lovers will be dazzled by stilt walkers and have a go at learning some tricks in the circus skills workshops.

Other activities include a family fun game show - with prizes to be won and magic shows throughout both days with the Farm’s very own Magic Steve.

Party goers can also tuck into plenty of delicious birthday cake, get hands-on feeding and grooming the animals, have a hoot with the owls and see the Cool Critters Show. There’s also tractor trailer rides, go-karts, adventure playground, bouncy castle and a soft play barn.

Dawn Peters, Events Coordinator at Whitehouse Farm Centre, explains: “We’ve got an action-packed weekend of celebration planned and everyone is invited! We want to welcome friends old and new to join in the festivities and help us to celebrate 21 years of fun on the Farm.

“Our 21st birthday weekend provides a great opportunity for us to say thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years and helped us to achieve another fantastic milestone in our history.”

A family business, in 21 years Whitehouse Farm Centre has grown from a small farm attraction into an award winning visitor attraction welcoming around 100,000 visitors annually.

Spread over 40 acres, the Farm is home to an impressive range of native and exotic animals. Its furry, feathered, hairy and scaly residents include snakes, skinny pigs, meerkats, marmoset monkeys, deer, wallabies, llamas, Shetland ponies, owls and parrots, all living happily alongside the more typical farm animals you would expect to find in the Northumberland countryside; sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits and cattle.

Party goers can join in the 21st birthday fun from 10:00am until 5:00pm on Saturday 7 July and Sunday 8 July. To find out more go to www.whitehousefarmcentre.co.uk, Facebook: whitehousefarm or Twitter @WhitehouseFarm_.

Every child will receive one free ride at the fun fair with additional rides at £1 each. The circus skills workshops are a free activity and availability is limited. To avoid disappointment spaces must be booked – sessions take place at 11:30am and 2:00pm. Please book via DigiTickets at: https://whitehousefarmcentre.digitickets.co.uk/tickets
