Work completed on £4.5m Travelodge Hotel in Bromley

Henry Boot Developments has completed work on a £4.5m Travelodge Hotel in Bromley, Greater London.

The new 59-bed hotel, to be known as Travelodge London Bromley Town Centre, has created 20 new jobs.

This hotel forms part of Travelodge’s continuing UK expansion plan, with a reported further 19 hotels due to open this year.

Among the new hotels will be Travelodge’s largest ever new build hotel, London City, a 395-room building in the heart of the City of London.

Built by construction firm, H&J Martin, the project took a year to complete and involved alterations to an existing three-storey building as well as change of use applications.

Along with the hotel, the new building also includes four ground-floor retail units.

This latest project is one of several currently being undertaken by HBD’s London team, which moved into larger offices at Portland Place earlier this year.

HBD’s London team is currently delivering a pipeline with a development value in excess of £300m.
