Wakefield comms firm creates 10 jobs with new North West base
Business communications company NGC Networks is creating 10 jobs by expanding in the North West.
The Wakefield-headquartered firm opened an office on Bury Business Park in Greater Manchester, where a recruitment drive will fill a raft new roles.
NGC head of mobile Steve Tipper is leading the campaign, which will focus initially on the company’s business mobiles division.
Already recruited is mobiles specialist Alex Stephens, whose background includes sales roles at Vodafone, O2 and EE.
NGC Networks offers telecommunications and internet connectivity services for businesses across the North.
Director Nikki Guest said: “We’re excited to announce our new office in Greater Manchester as part of a strategy to grow our customer base in the North West.
“Alex is a fantastic addition to the team and we look forward to welcoming a number of new faces over the coming months as we build our regional presence.”
Nikki continued: “We look forward to providing our quality service to even more businesses, drawing on relationships with the leading networks coupled with a personal approach, where we offer consultative advice and solutions, bespoke to customers’ individual needs.”
Alex Stephens commented: “Having spent valuable time learning within three of the UK’s leading networks, I have a wealth of experience that I intend to put to good use by helping companies to identify the right network for their workforce along with the best product offering and price.
“NGC’s partnerships with all three networks means I’m perfectly placed to deliver on this promise.”
NGC is on track to grow sales to £6m this year, a 15% uptick on last year’s turnover.
