Missed Bdaily’s latest webinar with Sheffield Hallam University? Catch it again here
Professional development in the workplace was the topic of discussion in Bdaily’s latest interactive webinar.
Hosting the online event in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) at the end of June, I got the chance to hear from people on all sides of the debate.
We explored the opportunities on offer today, with a particular focus on postgraduate senior leader apprenticeships and what they entail from the perspective of the provider, the business owner and the learner.
Sam Moorwood and Mark Rayner, SHU’s head of employer solutions and head of business development for apprenticeships respectively, gave viewers an insight into the university’s work with Sheffield City Region businesses, how SHU is helping to upskill future leaders and the advantages of pursuing a postgrad senior leader apprenticeship.
We also had the pleasure of hearing from Lucy Hind, DBA student and facilities director at international contract research company Covance; Katrina Cliffe, owner and managing director of marketing agency KC Communications; and Ilya Bykov, MBA student and global IT cost and contracts manager with a major bank.
You can listen back to the full discussion here.
What’s your own experience of professional development in the workplace? Have you ever considered undertaking a postgraduate senior leader apprenticeship? Let us know in the comments.
