Headingley set for American-themed Manahatta bar
Headingley will get a slice of New York glamour next month with the launch of bar brand Manahatta.
The £500k venue will offer all-day US-themed dining, cocktails, 14 HD sports screens and shuffleboards.
DJs, saxophone players, percussionists and other entertainers will play for guests at weekends.
It will be the third Manahatta launched in Leeds by leisure operator Arc Inspirations.
The site chosen, 19 Ash Road, was the home of Arc’s first ever bar, opened in 1999.
Since then, the company has built a portfolio of 18 bars in the North under four brands – Banyan Bar & Kitchen, Manahatta, The Box and The Pit.
Arc will follow the opening with the launch of its first venue across the Pennines.
In May, the firm revealed plans to invest £1.8m in a Manahatta venue for Manchester.
