London law firm secures new space for £11m-turnover Manchester office
Fieldfisher is expanding its presence in Manchester by taking over another floor of the FreeTrade Exchange building.
The London-headquartered law firm, which took over the fourth floor of the Peter Street property less than nine months ago, now occupies 22,000 sq ft across four levels.
Fieldfisher recently reported a 24% uplift in turnover for the 2017/18 financial year, with the Manchester office generating £11m.
The company’s North West team has increased its headcount by 25% in the last six month, with appointments including four new partners since April.
Fieldfisher’s Manchester-based managing partner, Ian Austin, said: “We are delighted to reveal that we are taking a further floor in the FreeTrade Exchange building.
“Although we only took over the fourth floor in November, our expanding practices have resulted in the need for even more space as we continue to recruit in our real estate, corporate, medical negligence, technology and employment teams.”
