Leeds United secures defence against cyber attacks with new partnership
Leeds United Football Club has completed the signing of a new partnership with Altinet, which is now the club’s official Cyber Security Partner.
The partnership will see the cyber security company provide Leeds United with the latest security solutions, as well as fast-response technical support to assist with all of the club’s security changes.
Also based in Leeds, Altinet works with a wide range of global, market-leading vendors, providing cyber security with expert advice.
As part of the deal, Altinet will have pitch-side signage during all of LUFC’s domestic home games, and placement on interview backdrops and in other club-owned media assets.
Additionally, the company will be able to stage B2B events in parts of the stadium for employees and customers.
Paul Bell, Leeds United’s executive director, said: “We are delighted to have started our partnership with Altinet.
“We have a directive to develop long term partnerships with global organisations that have a local presence and alongside the IT Cyber Security and Managed Service that Altinet provide LUFC will be a sponsorship agreement that will be present throughout the stadium and our digital platforms.”
Henry Doyle, Altinet director and co-founder, added: “Our HQ is in the centre of Leeds and it is great to have LUFC as a customer and partner.
“Altinet’s Cyber Security Managed Services are designed to be resilient and therefore perfect for targeted brands and digital intensive environments.
“We are confident that the partnership will benefit all parties and in particular The Leeds Community”.
