New Middlesbrough home for growing Escape Room startup

A growing ‘escape room’ business has moved to a new home in Middlesbrough.

Project Escape relocated from Victoria Road to former office space above Dundas Shopping Centre.

The company, founded last year by former students from Teesside University, now occupies 2,500 sq ft on the top floor of 5 Linthorpe Mews.

Project Escape said the larger premises will enable it to expand and offer experiences.

Letting agent Richard Wilson, associate partner at property consultancy Dodds Brown, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Project Escape to Dundas Shopping Centre.

“They will make inventive use of this space to offer a better escape room experience.”

He added: “More and more people are looking for experiences, as well as shopping, when they visit town centres, so it is important for centres to diversify away from a pure retail offering.”
