Haslingden's leading hearing centre celebrates its fifth birthday

Audiologist and entrepreneur Nish Vasant has marked five years in Haslingden, a special milestone for the Fresh Hearing Centre on Lower Deardengate.

While there has been hearing services on the site for over 20 years it was Nish who rescued it from certain closure in 2013, saving the jobs of all four employees and taking it to new heights of service and product quality.

Nish reckons he has seen over 13,000 people since those early days and has consistently served their needs in a growing market.

Nish commented: “We offer a full range of hearing care services, for people in all kinds of circumstances, tailoring products and solutions using latest technology and hearing knowhow. I am delighted to have reached this 5th anniversary.”

To celebrate Nish and his team held an Open Week (23rd-27th July), partnering with leading Stockport-based manufacturers Starkey Hearing Technologies to give customers an opportunity to look at the very latest smart hearing technology from the experts.

Customers enjoyed a range of free services from the Fresh Hearing team, including hearing screening and consultation, technology demonstrations, free trials on many models – wireless, rechargeable and invisible - plus free batteries and clean & check of current hearing aids.

Nish also supported the week with a series of special offers and vouchers in local press including £200 off a hearing solution and £50 M & S vouchers for recommending a friend.

He concluded: “It’s been a special week for everyone involved. Here’s to the next five years!”
