Connect Yorkshire appoints its latest insurance partner
Connect Yorkshire has appointed Henderson Insurance Brokers Ltd, an Aon company, as its insurance partner for both its West and North Yorkshire and South Yorkshire groups.
Henderson Insurance Brokers Ltd (HIBL), a subsidiary of Aon UK Limited, has worked with businesses in the region since forming in 1986.
The company has divisions in construction, real estate, retail/wholesale, manufacturing and haulage along with niche trades and sectors, complemented by expertise in risk management, bonds and credit insurance.
Sophie Patton, chief operating officer of Connect Yorkshire, said: “This is great news for our not for profit business Connect Yorkshire and even better news for our members, partners and entrepreneurs in residence as Henderson’s have a range of products to offer to help our businesses.”
Henderson also undertakes other general business insurance by drawing on over three decades of experience delivering tailored insurance packages.
The company aims to benefit clients from liaising with a dedicated account manager, who is supported by the company’s divisional teams, taking the time to understand their business and challenge processes to ensure they are aligned with industry best practice.
Tom Kendall, account director of Henderson Insurance Brokers Ltd, concluded: “We are excited to be entering into this partnership with Connect Yorkshire as it will allow us to continue to grow our Yorkshire roots.”
