Construction milestone for job-creating hotel and restaurant venue in Amble
Construction of a new 30-bedroom inn at Coquet Enterprise Park in Northumberland has reached a fresh milestone.
Structural building work on the The Amble Inn, which will be operated by pub business The Inn Collection Group (ICG), topped out this week.
County Council development firm Arch and its successor company, Advance Northumberland, are delivering the £4m scheme off the A1068 route into Amble from the south.
Once the construction work and fit-out are complete later this year, the venue is forecast to create the equivalent of 35 full-time jobs for the town.
The Inn is designed to serve as a venue for daytime and evening trade. In addition to its mix of family and twin rooms, it will also feature a 150-cover restaurant and bar along with external terrace seating, car parking and cycle spaces.
