LIVERPOOL’S LEGACIE DEVELOPMENTS ANNOUNCES KEY DIRECTOR APPOINTMENTS FOR ITS CONSTRUCTION ARM

Liverpool’s Legacie Contracts Ltd, the construction element of Legacie Developments has appointed three new Directors to ensure the continued successful delivery of projects across the city that the company is renowned for.

Ian Waterson has secured the role of Finance Director after working as Director/Chief Finance Officer for four years at Swiss Marine, the £2 billion per annum freight operation company. Ian is a Chartered Accountant and brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of financial business management.

Paul McGowan has joined as Construction Director and has over thirty years of management experience within the industry, controlling schemes up to £70m in value across numerous sectors. Paul is a Chartered Construction Manager and has most recently headed up the landmark X1 development on Sefton Street in the thriving Baltic Area.

Legacie has also promoted in house with Ian Williams taking on the role of Commercial Director, having worked within the business from its inception. Ian has over thirty years of experience in commercial management of construction projects and has been intrinsic in the success of the company.

This move strengthens the Director Team responsible for delivering some of the most renowned hospitality venues in the area (including Doubletree by Hilton Chester, Hotel Indigo on Chapel Street and Days Inn on James Street) alongside an extensive number of internationally branded hotels elsewhere in the country, throughout the last decade.

A spokesperson for Legacie Contracts said: “We are delighted to announce these key appointments which will assist in ensuring our continued track record of delivering high quality schemes for both clients and investors.”

Legacie Contracts is currently on site delivering various projects including Ropemaker Place on Renshaw Street and Water Street’s Reliance House comprising of over 200nr residential apartments and will be commencing on a further four landmark schemes in the city by early 2019.
