New Stockton-On-Tees development launched by MP
Local housebuilder Barratt Homes North East welcomed MP Alex Cunningham of the Stockton-On-Tees region to officially launch its brand new development, Jubilee Gardens, with a ribbon cutting ceremony this week. In a major boost to the North East economy, the newly opened site has over 200 new homes.
The MP cut a ribbon to mark the official launch, and also enjoyed a look around the new show home and the external areas of the site, meeting with key Barratt representatives and some of the construction staff who were involved in the build.
The site achieved support from Stockton Council during its construction phase, with praise offered to the housebuilder around its use of modern building methods. Timber frames were used at the site to build over 200 properties - greatly increasing efficiency, reducing waste and reducing the reliance on bricklaying resource.
Barratt Homes already have a number of successful developments in the North East region, including Burton Woods in Spennymoor, Teal Park Farm in Washington and North Gosforth Park in Newcastle. The housebuilder predominately employs local sub-contractors and tradesmen, meaning that local businesses and people will benefit directly from the jobs. In its commitment to investing in the local area, Barratt hired 30 tradespeople to work on the construction of the Jubilee Gardens site.
Alex Cunningham welcomed the launch of the development in the area, commenting: “I am thrilled to be part of the official launch of the Jubilee Gardens site here in Stockton. After campaigning for a long time for the works to start, it’s brilliant to now see the site open and ready to welcome new homeowners to the area. It’s great to see a series of new, high quality and affordable family homes right here in Stockton.”
Steven Ball, Sales Manager at Jubilee Gardens commented: “It was brilliant to receive such recognition from MP Alex Cunningham and to have him launch the development here in Stockton-On-Tees. We’re excited to open the doors at Jubilee Gardens and welcome the local community to visit the development and see the range of new homes that we have available. Our properties will give first time buyers, couples and families a great opportunity to secure a brand new home and be part of such a fantastic area.”
The brand new Jubilee Gardens development features a range of two, three and four bedroom properties with a range of house designs that suit a number of requirements and offer modern family living. Ideally located for commuters, families and first-time buyers alike, Jubilee Gardens’ stylish homes start from just £124,995.
