Morpeth based accountancy firm shortlisted in 2018 British Accountancy Awards
North East accountancy firm, Wellway, has been shortlisted for the Independent Firm of the Year Award in the British Accountancy Awards 2018 (Scotland, Northern Ireland and North, England). Having entered for the first time this year, Wellway are well on their way towards making their mark in the national accounting industry.
Regarded as the industry’s most prestigious accolade, The British Accountancy Awards have been celebrating the impact that accountancy and finance strategies make to business since 2011. Awarding companies both large and small for their participation in the finance sector, the British Accountancy Awards have built a reputable and recognisable name within the industry.
Not shy to being shortlisted for industry awards, Wellway has been assisting and supporting their clients’ and their businesses since 1998. With a team of accounting specialists and financial advisers, Wellway believes that any firm is as good as its people and pride themselves on having a team who are highly trained, friendly and approachable and who care about the success of their clients’ businesses.
Director Richard Thompson said “It’s great that our firm’s hard work has been recognised. As a company, we always strive to better ourselves and our services. I couldn’t be more pleased for our team.”
The ‘Independent Firm of the Year’ category states that the winning firm will show how the services it has provided have been fundamental in enabling their clients to achieve their specific business goals, increase revenues and satisfy and delight their customers.
The 2018 British Accountancy Awards (Scotland, Northern Ireland and North, England) will take place on 26 September at Grosvenor House, welcoming over 1000 guests from across the UK.
