Jet Aire wins twelve-month contract with Yorkshire Water

Leeds-based drainage and civil engineering company, Jet Aire Services, has been awarded a 12-month contract to provide drainage maintenance on behalf of Yorkshire Water.

Valued at circa £100,000, the work includes cleansing and clearance services to be provided throughout the Yorkshire region as a Tier 2 contractor, direct for Yorkshire Water. The successful tender follows Jet Aire’s recent £2m fleet investment in five recycler units which are 30% more powerful than standard jetting equipment and provide advanced technology to cleanse and re-use water on site.

Jet Aire Services managing director, Charlie Kirk, said:

“In the past few years Jet Aire Services has secured contracts with a series of major names in the environmental, chemical, highways and energy sectors. Yorkshire Water is another high-profile name to add to our growing client list and we are delighted to be working on behalf of such a prestigious company within the utilities sector.

“Jet Aire’s recent investment in a further five JHL FlexLine 414 recyclers has made a huge difference to the company’s service capability. There are only ten such vehicles in the UK and Jet Aire now has a total of six units which are the only ones based in the North. Their recycling technology enables faster turnaround of waste removal and cleaning, so we are able to complete projects with significantly greater speed and efficiency.”

Jet Aire’s range of professional drainage solutions also includes CCTV surveys, high-pressure water jetting, tankering, waste disposal, CIPP patching/lining, UV lining, infiltration sealing, robotic cutting, root cutting and epoxy spray Ultracoating. The company also provides a range of groundworks including surfacing, block paving, fencing and civil engineering on behalf housebuilders, highways operators and local authorities. Operating from offices in Aberford and Middlesbrough, Jet Aire Services holds both ISO9001 and ISO14001, internationally recognised standards for quality management.
