A&G Precision and Sons win Aerospace Supply Chain Award with support from RTC North

A&G Precision and Sons Ltd. are a Lancashire based SME which manufacture a broad range of high tolerance, complex machined components on behalf of a number of blue chip aerospace primes and tier 1’s as their preferred supplier.

The business recently became the first ever UK based manufacturer to achieve the prestigious SC21 GOLD Award in recognition of their excellent work within the Aerospace Supply Chain.

This was announced at the Farnborough Air Show in the summer where businesses from the Aerospace and Defence Industry gathered to celebrate growth and progress within the sector, and to recognise those businesses who go above and beyond this.

RTC North Business Consultants Jim Barr and Alan Whittaker, Lead SC21 Practitioners who delivered the SC21 diagnostics at A&G, were present on the day to witness this fantastic achievement by A&G Precision and Sons. Arthur Pinder Managing Director A&G Precision and Sons Ltd, commented:

“A&G have worked closely with RTC North Business Consultants Jim Barr and Alan Whittaker for the past 4 years, from our initial SC21 Silver award evaluation through to our recent SC 21 Gold Award.

“A&G have always found Jim and Alan to be very professional and competent and fully conversant with the assessment diagnostic and reporting processes throughout this period. A&G will be happy to reengage with RTC again for our future SC21 requirements.”

Jim Barr added:

“We are proud to have played a key role in supporting the company, with whom we’ve had a 5-year business relationship, to achieve this fantastic recognition, and look forward to further supporting them as Supply Chain Assessors with their new treatments business later this year.”
