Investor Livingbridge backs two London proptechs
Mid-market private equity firm Livingbridge has invested in two London-based proptech businesses.
The company today (September 13) announced growth capital deals with Labrador and YourWelcome using funds from the Baronsmead Venture Trusts.
Labrador, established in 2016 by chief exec Jane Lucy, leverages smart technology to automate and personalise the process of switching energy providers.
Once a customer is registered with its free switching service, household tariffs are automatically monitored against the available market tariffs to ensure consumers remain on on a cheap option for life.
YourWelcome, meanwhile, supplies tablets and associated software for vacation rental, Airbnb and corporate letting properties.
Its software works to improve the guest experience by serving as an information and communication portal.
The Livingbridge investment will enable YourWelcome to open an office in Florida and launch its second product – an advance check-in tool that helps owners verify guests’ contact details and ID.
Livingbridge Growth invests equity of up to £5m.
