New Dartford base for £42m-turnover vehicle safety system firm
Vehicle safety system firm Brigade Electronics has opened a new office and warehouse facility in Dartford.
The 24,483 sq ft base, located at 10 Applegarth Drive, Questor Estate on Hawley Road, will house the company’s engineering and materials, planning and logistics teams.
It will also serve as Brigade’s main UK and EU warehouse.
The launch follows a record year for the company, which generated revenues of £42m in 2017. Sales for the current year are forecast to grow 12%.
Philip Hanson-Abbott, managing director at Brigade, said: “We are delighted to be opening a new warehouse at Applegarth.
“With four times as much space we can continue to expand our product development, engineering and logistics teams to continue to better serve our customers locally and globally.”
Founded in 1976, today Brigade sells in over 60 countries and employs more than 175 staff.
