DS.Emotion appoints Innovation and Strategy Director

Award-winning branding, placemaking and digital marketing agency, DS.Emotion, has recruited Lawrence Alexander as their new Innovation & Strategy Director, alongside two other recruits across their Manchester and Leeds offices.

The Leeds team welcomes Lawrence from Home Agency, where he was previously Digital Strategy Director

Lawrence is a veteran strategist with 20 years of experience in communication and marketing, working with over 100 high street brands including British Heart Foundation, Microsoft, Unilever, Wagamama and Sony.

His blend of expertise in innovation, communication and human behaviour is founded in a kindness-first philosophy. He has a BA (Hons) in Conflict Resolution which, combined with marketing expertise, means he’s the perfect person to broker a deal between clients, consumers and colleagues leading to brands and campaigns that have a positive effect on all involved.

He will play a key role in advancing DS.Emotion’s strategic offering, bringing with him a wealth of expertise designing and delivering innovative and effective branding, placemaking and marketing methods.

Lawrence is joined by Sophie Joelle, who joins the team as Content Manager and Copywriter. Having previously worked for Emerald Publishing as Brand Executive as well as numerous agencies including Extreme Creations working on award-winning campaigns with clients such as Nisa Locally, Sophie is a great addition to the ever-expanding team at DS.Emotion and will be pivotal to their evolving content strategy and growing digital presence.

The expanding agency has also welcomed a new Account Executive to their Manchester office. Mia Adams has joined from her previous role at marketing agency Vivid, where she recently completed her social media and business apprenticeship. Mia will be working across various client accounts and assisting on new business wins, as she helps the team to deliver a seamless marketing service from brief to delivery.
