Tata Chemicals Europe Appoints Conker Communications as Catalyst for Marketing Campaigns
Manchester integrated marketing agency, Conker Communications, has clinched a double account win with Tata Chemicals Europe (TCE) – which includes British Salt Limited, and which is part of the global Tata group of companies.
Conker has been appointed to handle external communications on behalf of the long-established Cheshire-based organisation and also to develop a company-wide employee values and employer branding initiative.
Commenting on the account win, Conker’s joint managing director, Martin Wallwork said: “We’re delighted to have this exciting opportunity to be the marketing and communications partner for such a long-established and prestigious British based manufacturing business.’’
“Over the coming months we will be communicating news of a raft of ground-breaking initiatives on behalf of the TCE team as it rolls out its ambitious growth plans. We’re tasked with developing a multi-platform communications campaign to raise awareness of TCE’s various areas of activity including its innovative energy plans, its long-standing soda ash production, the production of salt and high grade bicarb, which is used in the medical sector, amongst lots of other applications.’’
Phil Davies, General Manager for Business Services at TCE, added: “We selected Conker as our external communications specialist, thanks to the team’s breadth of industrial, technical and consumer marketing expertise; their insight into our diverse areas of activity and an appreciation of our growth plans. The external comms activities will be key to us improving our profile across a wide range of market sectors.
Karen Lounds, General Manager for HR and IT commented: “Conker’s impressive track record in developing employee value proposition programmes (EVP) and employer branding initiatives on behalf of major employers of a similar profile to ourselves really attracted us and Conker’s work to date has impressed our company’s management board.
“We’re looking forward to working with the Conker team on these two major TCE initiatives.”
