Revolve Technologies Featured in Latest Parliamentary Review

Leading engineering innovator Revolve Technologies appears in the 2018 edition of The Parliamentary Review, published this week, one of just sixteen companies nationwide to be included.

The Parliamentary Review, which is jointly chaired by Lord Pickles and Lord Blunkett, highlights the success of organisations and individuals, discussing their successes, failures and the challenges that lie ahead. This year, the Review points to the critical role that engineering plays when it comes to British economic stability and employment all across the country.

Revolve Technologies is an ideas company and in their Review piece, their innovative engineering and collaborative approach is described, and how this has led to success across many different sectors including low carbon vehicles, motorsport, marine and rail. Revolve’s EV work supporting Ford has led to its involvement with the plug-in hybrid Transit van now being trialled in London, and planned for production release in 2019.

The company employs 100 people and has many ‘firsts’ under its belt, including the hydrogen powered refuse trucks supplied to ULEMCo - the first to be used in the UK. Earlier this month, Revolve attracted attention when it showed the first PCB-based fuel cell for use in an automotive environment.

“We are delighted at being featured in the Parliamentary Review, and having the chance to promote engineering as an exciting and worthwhile career choice for our young people”, said Paul Turner, Engineering Director at Revolve Technologies. “We are especially proud of the impact our work has had in providing low carbon options. Through our work, Hydra Inc. of Canada now has solutions for 60-tonne road train vehicles, and CMB of Belgium has a hydrogen/diesel passenger ferry operating on the River Scheldt.”
