Brewster Bye In The Running For Top Industry Award

Brewster Bye Architects has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Residential Consultancy Practice’ category at the prestigious Variety Yorkshire Residential Property Awards.

The awards, which are organised by The Yorkshire Region of Variety - a charity that supports sick, disabled and disadvantaged children in the UK - celebrate the very best operators in the residential property market.

The winners will be announced on Thursday 11th October 2018 at a glittering ceremony held at Bowcliffe Hall in Bramham, in front of an audience of more than 600 professionals who work across Yorkshire’s residential property sector. The ‘Best Residential Consultancy Practice’ is for consultants that can demonstrate excellence in performance and customer service.

Chris Austin, managing director of Leeds based Brewster Bye, said: “To be shortlisted for this award alongside some of the best names in Yorkshire’s property industry is a major coup. We’re heavily involved in all areas of the region’s residential property industry, working on extra care sites, affordable housing schemes, city centre apartment buildings and luxury homes developments.

Brewster Bye has already scooped a hat-trick of top awards in 2018. The company won the ‘Best Small New Housing Development’ at the North Yorkshire Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Excellence Awards for its work on Holgate Mews in York. The firm then won the ‘Best Social New Housing Development’ award at West Yorkshire’s LABC Excellence Awards for Fern House in Bingley and won the ‘Best New Residential Development’ at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Yorkshire & Humber Awards for the same development.

The money raised at the Yorkshire Residential Property Awards funds Variety’s work with deserving children in Yorkshire. It’s spent on a wide range of initiatives including Sunshine coaches, which are used by schools and organisations for children with special needs, and supports one-off appeals for help and specialist equipment.
