Castle Employment celebrates £6.5m turnover with York offices expansion
Scarborough-based recruitment business, Castle Employment Group is opening a new office with a dedicated team in York this month as it continues its expansion across Yorkshire.
Turning over £6.5m with over 40 staff, Castle Employment has tripled in turnover and people over the last four years. It has two offices in Scarborough, an office in Leeds and plans to grow further across the region.
The York office will support the progression of the business and respond to a growing number of recruitment requirements for York based clients and candidates.
Castle Employment Group provides temporary, permanent and contract staff for businesses across Yorkshire with specialist divisions in the likes of engineering and manufacturing, HR, business support, accountancy and finance, hospitality and cleaning.
Kerry Hope, managing director of Castle Employment Group, said: “The strategic growth into York has been on our radar for the last 24 months.
“Often attracting the talent is the hardest part of any growth strategy and so having an office in York will help us to attract and support our candidates and grow our client base.
“When we had the opportunity to recruit an experienced talented recruitment leader to drive the business support team forward - the timing is perfect.”
Castle Employment works closely with clients to find the right people or team for their organisation on a permanent basis, or to supply temporary and contract staff to cover seasonal fluctuations, increased workload, absences and skill shortages.
Roles filled range from director level appointments with the salaries of up to £120k per year to junior administration staff.
Castle’s clients include a mix of Blue Chip companies and SMEs across Yorkshire and the North, such as Hiscox, McCain Foods, The Forestry Commission, Yell, Karro Foods, Vet Partners and Benenden Healthcare, many of which have been working with the business for as long as 15 years.
