Bar brand Pitcher & Piano prepares for Sheffield launch
Leisure brand Pitcher & Piano is opening the doors to its latest venue in Sheffield next week.
The chain will launch at the former National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) Building on Holly Street, where it will serve a menu of cocktails, wines and draught beers.
It will also offer bookable spaces and serve food from lunch through to evenings.
Pitcher & Piano Sheffield will be the company’s 18th site in the UK, operating alongside sister venues in York, Harrogate, Newcastle, Nottingham and Birmingham.
Colin Sadler, managing director at Pitcher & Piano, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our brand-new site in Sheffield.
“The former NUM building offers a unique character, in line with our other beautifully designed bars across the country.”
He continued: “Sheffield is a brilliant, vibrant city steeped in culture. Our latest site is stone’s throw from City Hall and the city’s famous theatre complex.
“We hope it will become an after-work favourite for the people of Sheffield. We look forward to welcoming you into our new home.”
Pitcher & Piano Sheffield will open with a launch party on Friday, October 19.
