Edge Testing to boost public sector footprint with presence on new framework

Edge Testing Solutions, part of Eurofins Digital Testing, has been selected to deliver digital services under the Crown Commercial Service’s new Digital Outcomes and Specialists 3 public sector framework.

Edge Testing already has a strong public sector practice with recent client wins including the Student Loans company in a multi-million pound contract, and other contracts spanning local and central government. Other public sector clients include the Big Lottery Fund, FSCS, Scottish Prison Service, South Ayrshire Council and a national healthcare provider.

The Digital Outcomes and Specialists framework helps the public sector to find suppliers that can research, design, build, test and deliver software applications and digital services. Since its launch at the end of April 2016, over 1,850 opportunities for suppliers to do business with the public sector, have been published on the Digital Marketplace.

Edge’s public sector clients include the Disclosure and Barring Service, the Home Office, NHS 24, Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service, Student Loans Company and South Ayrshire Council.

Public sector clients already benefit from Edge Testing’s Digital Test Hub (DTH) concept, which offers easily accessible remote testing service for in-house applications and back office systems. Currently, the company’s two DTHs are located near Glasgow and in Birmingham, with a third slated for Manchester later in 2018. Both hubs service clients UK-wide.
