GoCompare.com launches ‘hugely powerful’ platform for automatic energy switching
Comparison firm GoCompare.com Group plc is launching a new platform to shake up the energy switching market.
The company’s new “hugely powerful” tool, weflip, will work to save customers money by automatically switching them over to better deals on their energy.
Its service will be powered by Energylinx, an energy comparison business within GoCompare.com Group.
Details of weflip were confirmed this morning (October 15) in a company update on the London Stock Exchange website.
GoCompare.com Group chief exec Matthew Crummack said: “We are excited by the launch of weflip as our first proposition focused on our ‘Savings as a Service’ strategy.
“Though it will take time to fully develop traction in the switching market, we believe weflip is a hugely powerful tool and will be very appealing to customers.”
GoCompare does not expect the cost of the launch to have a material impact on the group’s financial results.
