Visual display businesses expand into Clerkenwell with £50k showroom
Two Nottingham businesses have invested five figures to increase their presence in London.
Glass noticeboard manufacturer Casca and visual display company Boards Direct teamed up to invest £50k in a showroom in Clerkenwell.
The new base, which includes a roof terrace, is located on Albemarle Road and led to the creation of two jobs.
Boards Direct chairman Paul Pinder said it represents the first time the firm has operated premises outside Nottingham.
He commented: “The move will ensure our name is front of mind for designers who are searching for quality products, as they will be available to visit the showroom to better understand the look and feel of our product range.
“We’ve also full refurbished the premises so that we can use the space, particularly the outdoor terrace, for events and networking, helping us to build stronger links with the creative community based here.”
Casca and Boards Direct are working with international whiteboard brand Nobo during November as exclusive resellers of its new widescreen board range.
