New community supports city’s hospital
Residents, staff and guests of Bow Square have helped to raise more than £400 for Southampton Hospital Charity.
The new city centre apartment community held a raffle to raise money for the ward as part of its recent community facility celebrations.
Now, with the final money totted up, it’s been revealed that £450 has been raised for the charity. It will go towards the G2 paediatric neurology ward, which helps young people with brain injuries and conditions.
Adam Dale, community director at Bow Square, said: “We’ve seen first-hand the incredible work that goes on at the ward, after a member of staff’s grandson was treated there. The doctors, nurses and support staff work tirelessly to help patients and it was our pleasure to donate this money to the ward.”
