Former England Rugby captain appoints Flaunt Digital to produce 'motivational' web app

MBE and ex-England rugby captain, Jamie Peacock has appointed local agency Flaunt Digital as his online tech partner.

The Leeds-based digital marketing agency has been commissioned to produce a web app to accompany Peacock’s motivational speaking work, No White Flag.

The web app will provide an interactive 12-week program to help adults on a leadership and personal development journey.

It provides insight into Jamie’s time as a top rugby league player and captain, including a range of imagery and exclusive stories from his career.

Jamie founded No White Flag 10 years ago, starting off as a keynote talk around why he was successful during his time as a player.

After several years of motivational speaking, he decided to transform No White Flag from “just being a talk where you inspire people for a day to helping people create champion habits.”

Then, No White Flag: Building Champions was launched two years ago. The 12-week mentoring course has been used by many local SMEs and blue-chip companies, like HSBC and McDonalds, but also in the public sector with CCGs in NHS Leeds and Hull.

Peacock said: “The overall messages are key ones that anybody can pick up, but I think the issue with the mentoring is the time and access to myself. The ability to use digital allows me to make the course more accessible for people within a company.

“Instead of dealing with the 10 people who are perhaps in a leadership role you can get 200 or even 1,000 people involved, all trying to create champion habits. Technology allows you to do that and I think it’s the perfect way to overcome this problem.”

Speaking on his partnership with Flaunt Digital, he added: “I know Flaunt Digital through a mutual contact, Joe Gaunt at Hero Wellbeing.

“When I first met up with their CTO, Jamie Shields, we got on really well together and it was gut instinct when I appointed them as my digital partner.

“Over the last eight weeks, they’ve delivered on everything they said they would; the company comes with a good reputation and I can see why they have that reputation.

“The work provided by Flaunt Digital has been exactly what was needed; it’s been an easy transition to get what I think the project should look like into something that’s actually workable and deliverable in terms of technology.”
