Growing North East video production company doubles staff count
A video production company in Gateshead has had to double its staff count to accommodate a growing demand for its services.
GetFilm has enjoyed a busy workload so far in 2018, shooting more than 4,000 hours of footage and racking up over 5,000 hours of editing time to date.
The company, now in its sixth year of trading, employs 20 full- and part-time staff at the Gateshead International Business Centre and works with freelancers based around the UK.
Its team delivers more than 50 videos a month for clients in sectors such as architecture, culture, healthcare, hotels, sports and tech, including Accenture, Thinking Digital, Crowne Plaza Docklands, Hilton Hotels, Gateshead Council, Newcastle University and the NHS.
Rob Earnshaw, co-founder of GetFilm, said: “We have the drive, vision and desire to one day be recognised as the UK’s leading video production company.
“This ambition is represented in the business doubling its turnover year upon year since we began.”
