At Your Service - VW Van Centre - Preston

The Volkswagen Van Centre on Millennium Way in Preston will soon have a team that’s fully VW Commercial Vehicles accredited.

Parts Manager, Rob Blundell, Aftersales Manager, Mark Holderness and Business Development Manager, David Young became VW Accredited earlier this year and they’re now joined by Service Advisors Keith McClean and Andrew Leigh who have both passed the VW Service Advisor exams with flying colours.

Keith commented, “It’s hard work. I’ve been at the VW Van Centre for 12 and a half years in the role of Service Advisor, so clearly you think you know everything, but when you go into the role in depth and look at doing everything in the way the brand specifies, it certainly makes you think hard and inevitably makes you better at your job, which is good news for all our customers”.

Andrew Leigh has been at the van centre for 4 and a half years, so the pair have plenty of experience in helping customers whose vans are in for service or repair.

Aftersales Manager, Mark Holderness commented, “I’m delighted that Keith and Andrew have passed their VW accreditation, as a centre we’re nearly fully accredited, which is a rare thing. So much experience and so much hard work has gone into our Service Advisor team achieving this and I know our customers are going to reap the benefit.”

The VW Van centre in Preston is part of family owned and run Swansway Motor Group, director Peter Smyth commented, “We’re really proud of our team members who achieve accreditation from the brand. It takes hard work and determination and doesn’t just benefit our customers, but the whole team at the centre, so massive congratulations to Keith and Andrew”.
