Located at The Gate leisure and entertainment centre, Cineworld’s 2,742-seat Newcastle cinema already features 16 screens and a Starbucks due to open in December.

The Superscreen auditorium will seat 396 people and be the first in the North East.
Cineworld Newcastle general manager John Hodgson said: “We always look at the latest innovations in technology.

He added: “Plus the upcoming Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, is the perfect film for opening the Superscreen with.”
