1st birthday celebrations for Wm Sykes Slaithwaite
Customers and staff at estate agency, Wm Sykes & Son, have been celebrating their 1st birthday.
A year ago two of Huddersfield’s best-known estate agencies, Wm Sykes & Son and Jane Stocks Estate Agency, joined forces to create a new agency in Slaithwaite. This is the second office for Wm Sykes who also have a branch in Holmfirth.
Wm. Sykes & Son are Holmfirth’s longest established estate agents and auctioneers. Established in 1866, they have been trusted for generations. The branch in Slaithwaite incorporates Jane Stocks Estate Agency under the Wm Sykes & Son umbrella. It’s been a great first year for Wm Sykes, who are based on Britannia Road. In the past 12 months, they have become number one for sales agreed on Rightmove in HD7. This is a great achievement that they are all thrilled with.
Rob Dixon said; “We really enjoyed celebrating our first birthday with our customers and staff with the obligatory cake and Champagne.”
He continued; “This year has been a massive success for us. We are delighted to have an office in Slaithwaite so we can better serve our customers who are based in the Colne Valley and surrounding area. It’s a beautiful area and a vibrant community that we are proud to be part of.”
