Everkool announces £150K buyout of Bootle-based Hargreaves ventilation wholesalers
Everkool, the leading Liverpool-based air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation company, today (Wednesday 14 November) announced a £150,000 buyout of Hargreaves wholesalers.
Bootle-based Hargreaves, which supplied ventilation products to north-west businesses for over twenty years, sold the company to Everkool in August.
The acquisition has saved 14 jobs and boosts Everkool’s expanding portfolio.
Everkool managing director, Craig Greenwood, said:
“We’re pleased to announce the acquisition of Hargreaves wholesalers and are looking forward to offering a fully functioning and expanded trade counter with more ventilation products.
Hargreaves was a solid business with real potential so the acquisition made sense particularly given our existing knowledge and experience in the field.
We’ve renamed the wholesalers Greenwood Hargreaves so that it represents a new era but so that it also reflects the quality associated with the brand as it was. This is an exciting time for both the wholesalers and Everkool. We’re looking forward to further growth and expansion in 2019.“
