Planning greenlight for Duchy Homes’ latest luxury development near Yarm
Duchy Homes has secured planning consent for 19 executive homes near Yarm in North Yorkshire.
The housebuilder will build a collection of five-bedroom detached properties and two-bed affordable bungalows in the village of Kirklevington.
Known as Highgrove, the scheme will occupy the former agricultural land at Forest Lane, arranged in a single lane with existing hedgerows and mature trees.
It will offer views of the open countryside to the north and feature a blend of modern living styles and traditional architecture.
Work is now underway on Highgrove, with a sales launch forecast in early 2019.
Duchy Homes acquired new headquarters at Thorpe Park Leeds earlier this year, as a part a broader expansion plan that includes the delivery of its first luxury development in the Midlands.
In September, the firm announced the relocation of its North East team to Bowes Business Park in County Durham.
