Liverpool Salon to Offer 'Star' Treatment Following Refurbishment
Liverpool’s Star Salon has officially opened its doors following a five-figure sum refurbishment and it promises to offer a unique pamper experience.
Located on Aigburth Road, the salon has unveiled its new look – complete with disco balls, photo props and even a mural painted by renowned local graffiti artist Paul Curtis, offering clients a picture-perfect location for a cut, colour or treatment.
Owned by hairdresser and business woman Kelly McDonald, Star Salon will offer traditional services alongside a host of events and entertainment and a range of must-have merchandise.
Kelly said: “Myself and the team here at Star Salon are so excited to welcome in this new chapter of the business, which has been years in the making. I’m so thrilled to see my vision finally come to life and can’t wait to welcome clients through the door for a salon experience they will never forget and certainly won’t be able to get anywhere else.
“The inspiration behind Star Salon came from my desire to create a totally bespoke service that is unlike anything else in Liverpool. We want to offer each and every person that comes through our doors the chance to feel like a star and what better way to show off your new style than with a fabulous selfie? For this reason, every aspect of the salon has been designed with the perfect picture in mind, right down to the toilet, which also includes a self-controlled sound system!”
Star Salon’s team of stylists combine over 40 years of industry experience and provide a range of treatments including Bespoke Colour, Hair Extensions, Nano Hair Smoothing System, Matrix Styling and Hair Up Dos to name a few.
Kelly added: “Our salon offers so much more than your regular hair treatments – our clients can indulge in a head massage, enjoy one of our musical movie days or toast a glass of fizz on a Friday before taking to the mic for a karaoke sing along. Star Salon isn’t just a great back drop – it promises to provoke all of your senses.
“I wanted to create an experience like no other within the hair industry by offering professional, high quality services in a fun environment that not only excites our clients but also offers a creative working space for our stylists.”
