'Niche' York law firm relocates to bigger premises following successful client building
Niche employment law firm, Torque Law has relocated to Northminster Business Park as part of its ongoing expansion.
The York-based firm - which launched over two years ago by legal duo Tiggy Clifford and Emma Whiting - has established itself as a ‘trusted’ advisor to the local business community.
With a client base that includes organisations such as British Horseracing Association, Ellis Patents, and Belmont Green, the firm has attracted market share from larger Yorkshire and London-based law firms by providing partner expertise with a highly personalised service.
One client spoke of their views on the firm, saying: “We see Torque Law as very much part of our future.”
The firm achieved its predicted turnover within only a few months of launching and increased its turnover by 220 per cent in the first year of trading.
It is advised on settlement agreements for Yorkshire and UK executives worth in excess of £5m over the past 18 months.
