Hanne Dinkel appointed to Chief Customer Delivery Officer at Spreadshirt
New member at management level at e-commerce platform as company plans to triple deliveries
London, 28 November 2018: Spreadshirt has today appointed Hanne Dinkel to Chief Customer Delivery Officer (CCDO). Over 50% of senior management positions at Spreadshirt are now filled by women.
In her position, Hanne will not only lead the five production sites in Europe and North America, but she will also be responsible for the strategic management of Operations, Factories, Assortment, Purchasing and Customer Service. She reports to CEO Philip Rooke.
To drive Spreadshirt’s growth, Hanne will focus on organisational growth, the development of production processes and bringing her international teams closer together. In 2017, the e-commerce company shipped almost 5 million articles all over the world. Over the next three years, Spreadshirt intends to grow to over 15 million delivered articles per year.
“I am convinced that customer satisfaction and efficient production processes are the keys to the company’s success,” explains Hanne Dinkel, new CCDO at Spreadshirt. “With my customer delivery team, I have set myself the goal of continuing to guarantee our high production standards, even with the growing number of orders. Quality products from Spreadshirt should be delivered quickly and cost-effectively - whether the order is large or small”.
“Spreadshirt is entering a new phase of growth,” says Philip Rooke, CEO of Spreadshirt. “With Hanne, we have found the ideal candidate whose know-how and leadership qualities will contribute to strengthening Spreadshirt’s market leadership. Together with her team, she will work to further improve services for our customers to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their order. I am very pleased to have her on our team.”
Before joining Spreadshirt, Hanne worked for 18 years in the automotive and wind energy industries. In addition to an MBA, she has an M.A. in Systemic Consulting and Artistic Analog Coaching. Her diverse education has already enabled Hanne to advance organisations with artistic vision, courage and creativity. Her greatest successes have been significant improvements in quality and efficiency as head of final assembly at Ford and as plant manager at Vestas. As Head of Logistics, Production Control and Controlling at BMW, she was responsible for the consistent implementation of the strategy that led to the BMW plant in Leipzig being awarded the industry prize “Best Factory 2013”.
