Precept with Euro Hostels secures finalist spot at the Youth Travel Awards
Brand performance business Precept working with leading millennial accommodation provider Euro Hostels has been selected as a finalist in the best marketing category of the prestigious Youth Travel Awards 2018.
The Youth Travel Awards, organised by BETA – the British Educational Travel Association, recognise the individual successes of organisations engaged in youth, student and educational travel, to from and within the UK. This is a sector serving young travellers that is worth £22.3 billion a year to the UK economy. Finalists and winners are selected by a ten strong panel of industry experts.
Precept based at St Peters Marina in Newcastle-upon-Tyne began partnering with Euro Hostels in 2017, tasked with creating an integrated brand, digital communications strategy that would set them apart from their competitors and drive the business forward.
William McClelland managing director of Euro Hostels said: “The brief to Precept was simple; create a website that showcases every aspect of our hostels in a way that potential customers can understand, navigate and easily book across all platforms. “Precept achieved this by experiencing first-hand what a Euro Hostels customer experiences and then translating this into a cutting edge yet simple digital brochure with perfectly smooth booking functionality.”
Nick Johnson managing director at Precept said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to see the work we undertook with Euro Hostel recognised in this way. It’s an honour to be selected as a finalist by such a highly respected and industry proven panel. “It’s been fantastic working in partnership with Euro Hostels and immersing ourselves in the millennial market.
“Delivering a website and booking engine for the next generation of traveller has been an exciting project to get involved with.
“As a brand performance business everything we do is results-focused and it’s always great to see the proof in the pudding when achieving and exceeding KPIs (key performance indicators) set at the outset to meet client expectations. EH! (Euro Hostel) is great to work with and so passionate about offering a remarkable experience to their customers.
“The result to date is a high performing, mobile friendly website, integrated seamlessly with their back-end system GuestCentrix bookings engine with significantly improved booking conversion rates.”
Winners will be announced on Thursday 29 November at the eleventh anniversary awards dinner at Planet Hollywood in London.
