Garbutt + Elliott relocates to 4,500 sq ft office in Leeds
Yorkshire accountancy firm, Garbutt + Elliott has expanded its Leeds office into new 4,500 sq ft premises, following the recent move of its York offices.
The moves come after a record year which has seen 45 new starters, including one new partner, join the now 156-strong practice.
During its last financial year, Garbutt + Elliott saw its turnover increase by 19 per cent to £7m and this trend has continued in the new financial year.
This was driven by a series of significant new business wins, including several high calibre Leeds and regionally based businesses such as Tates Fuel Oils, Innergy, Network Medical and the Vendor Initiated Management Buy Out of SCS Group.
Garbutt + Elliott’s managing partner, Russell Turner, said: “The growth in our Leeds based team has meant that we have outgrown our previous office, so along with our York office move we have relocated to a beautifully redeveloped space.
“The refurbishment work we have carried out has created an impressive, exciting and functional working environment. It allows for an open and friendly working culture, giving opportunity to bring both offices closer together by means of hot desking spaces and collaborative break out areas.
“The completion of both moves marks a huge milestone for the company, its employees and customers who will all benefit from the opportunities this expansion presents.”
Commercial property lawyer, Jonathan Moore, of Lupton Fawcett advised on the lease.
