Lancashire Businessman Launches Slow-Release Vitamin Patches In UK

A Lancashire businessman has launched a company selling slow-release natural vitamin patches after an illness in the family made him realise there was an urgent need.

Chorley-based Peter Love, who has run his successful property business for 18 years, has launched Ohana Topical Patches across the UK to help people with everything from improving health and energy levels to tackling swollen joints and aiding sleep.

Peter began researching the benefits of patches when his mother-in-law Angela Bisgrove, 93, from Preston, became unwell and he realised that there was no easy way to get beneficial vitamins into her system.

It is the eight-hour slow release of vitamins and herbal supplements into the body which is new to the UK and which Peter realised would aid many families across the UK.

Peter’s mother in law passed away before she could benefit from the patches but he realised that they could help other people who find it difficult or impossible to take tablets or use other traditional methods.

Devised by a group of doctors, health and wellness professionals, the patches contain vitamin and supplement formulas available without prescription.

The vitamins are absorbed slowly into the body through the skin, giving a steady flow throughout the day, and a medical adhesive insures that the patch stays on throughout the day/night comfortably with minimal to no irritation.

Peter said: “The doctors said we needed to get her eating and taking some vitamins and supplements, however she was adverse to taking tables, pills, capsules, shakes etc and did not like injections, plus she found it very difficult to swallow.

“We needed to find another way of getting vitamins and food supplements into her body and started looking at any other methods but could only find the traditional ones, which were unsuitable.

“Whilst doing some research we came across Ohana Topical Patches, which have benefitted many people in the USA. Unfortunately my mother in law passed away before she could benefit from them but we realised that the patches are great for people who find it difficult or impossible to take tablets or use other traditional methods.

“We started to bring them over from the States and our family and friends have been using them and found them to help with their general well-being.

Peter, 55, and his wife Gwyn have built up a property development business and buy to let portfolio since 2000.

Ohana patches’ traditional healing and nutrition can complement any wellness programme, can help boost focus and fitness for sportsmen and women and aid concentration for academics.

All are made, whenever possible, from natural, cruelty-free sourced ingredients, that are vegan friendly and are free from artificial dyes, dairy, egg, gluten, peanuts, shellfish, sugar and many other common allergens.
