Local family wins housebuilder’s crafty colouring competition
Bethany Holmes, aged 11, and her siblings Thomas Holmes, nine, Benjy Mody, five, and Lotte Mody, 12, from Keighley, Bradford, have been crowned the creative champions of the area following a colouring competition held by Barratt Homes over Halloween.
The competition encouraged children from the local area to get creative and show off their art skills by picking up a Halloween themed colouring sheet from Barratt Homes’ Vision development in Keighley.
Bethany, Thomas, Benjy and Lotte’s colourful entries were selected as the winning designs, with staff very impressed by the whole family’s artistic talent. They have been awarded the prize of a bundle of arts and crafts goodies worth £50.
Stacey Berkeley, Sales Manager at Vision, commented: “There were so many wonderful entries to choose from, so the decision certainly wasn’t an easy one! However, Bethany, Thomas, Benjy and Lotte’s entries were all so creative and caught our eye, which is why we’re so delighted to crown them the winners and gift them a fab pack of art and crafts prizes. We hope that they enjoy getting creative and continue to develop the artistic skills that seem to run in their family!”
Anne, the children’s Mum, commented: “Bethany, Thomas, Benjy and Lotte were jumping for joy when they found out they had all won the Barratt Homes’ competition as a family. It’s lovely that Barratt Homes ran this competition for the local community and the kids were so enthusiastic about taking part. It’s so nice to win as a family, the children can’t wait to use their prize!”
