Santa Celebrates in Crewe
Five years ago Swansway Motor Group founded its Santa Patrol initiative; with each dealership asking for nominations of local children’s groups which supported children for whom Christmas was not going to be the magical time it should be.
The 2018 Santa Patrol started off with a visit to Crewe Audi presenting gifts to Crewe charity, Chance Changing lives, this charity does wonderful work in Crewe supporting families through homelessness and challenging times.
Crewe Alexandra FC Children’s also received a visit with Santa donating gifts to Community Project Manager, Ray Walker who organises a Christmas part for local children.
Next Santa also popped into Crewe SEAT where Chance Changing lives picked up the balance of Christmas presents ensuring that none of the children they support will miss out this Christmas.
Santa in the guise of Karen Walker also visited Dee and Chris Drake’s Toy Appeal, which makes up sacks of presents for individual children across Cheshire and Manchester. Children who’ve been nominated by social workers, schools and drop-in centres and who would otherwise have no Christmas presents.
This year the toy appeal will make and deliver santa sacks for over 3,700 named children across Cheshire and Manchester, while Swansway Santa Patrol will donate to around 35 different Children’s groups and charities.
