Festive Focus: Bdaily speaks to Sweetdreams Ltd's Matt Stephenson
Today, we have Matt Stephenson, of North East-based Sweetdreams Ltd.
Can you introduce yourself and your business to our readers?
“Matt Stephenson, owner of Sweetdreams Ltd, maker or Choc Nibbles, consumer of beer, fan of SAFC, purveyor of fine chocolate confectionery.”
What was your company’s biggest achievement of the year?
“There’s been quite a few achievements - we moved factories, installed a new barrier coating/panning line, achieved BRC to grade A standard, grown the business and were crowned winners of the Made in the North East Food and Drink Sector award.”
How would you approach 2018 differently, given the chance?
“I would have planned it better, with budgets, KPI’s etc - winging it might not have been the best project planning software.”
What are your company’s plans for the new year?
“We have an exciting business plan, and new markets, customers and products to push out. 2019 is going to be a great year (as long as we don’t mention the ‘B’ word).”
What’s your favourite Christmas song?
“Fairytale of New York, naturally (especially when a little tipsy).”
