Festive focus: Our conversation with Sam Wall of SEAO Talent Partners

Today we have Sam Wall, recruitment director at SEAO Talent Partners.

Can you introduce yourself and your business to our readers?

“I am a talent acquisition professional with over 15 years’ experience in international recruitment agencies and in-house for a £1.35bn business.

“SEAO Talent Partners is a national outsource recruitment business with four clear service areas – strategy, end to end client branded recruitment, assessment centres and outplacement support.

“My team have all worked in-house for businesses and we therefore understand the challenges and issues from a business perspective.”

What was your company’s biggest achievement of the year?

“2018 was our startup year so we have achieved so much. We have established a team, designed our vision and values, set up premises and tech, started to engage with businesses and candidates – and we have acquired a lovely little pink sofa which are extremely proud of!”

How would you approach 2018 differently, given the chance?

“A change in the time of year for setting up could have benefitted us. As Christmas is now here – the recruitment industry is slightly paused – however, it has given us a real opportunity to get everything set up properly with dedicated thought to ensure our service and standards are completely right for our offering.”

What are your company’s plans for the new year?

“To rock it! We believe our service is ready, our offering is unique and the momentum is there. We are excited to secure some additional fantastic businesses and support them to grow and change.

“We are also looking forward to engaging with some amazing individuals as candidates and secure them roles which will benefit and improve their careers and personal lives.”

What are your plans for the festive season?

“I am looking forward to supporting Santa to ensure my daughters have an amazing Christmas.

“We’ll be heading to the Lake District for R&R, family time and lots of Christmas snuggles.”
