Local housebuilder gives away Christmas-themed ‘magic keys’ to children without chimney
Local housebuilder, Barratt Homes Yorkshire East, is putting a smile on children’s faces in Hull this Christmas by giving away ‘magic keys’ for those who live in a chimney-less house.
Helena Caulfield, Sales Adviser at Barratt Homes’ Cherry Tree Court development, said: “It’s a commonly held belief that Santa needs a chimney to enter a home on Christmas Eve but this simply isn’t the case. Santa has lots of magical ways to deliver presents and one such way is a magical key.”
Changing lifestyles and improved energy-efficiency in modern homes mean that many new homes no longer have a chimney. Children living locally to a Barratt development in Hull, and the surrounding area, are therefore encouraged to visit their local Sales Information Centre and pick up their very own magical key.
Helena continued: “We’re really pleased to be able to deliver some festive magic to children living on our development and in the surrounding area this Christmas.”
