Can you introduce yourself and your business to our readers?

“Tim Mercer, CEO of Vapour Cloud. We’re an Elland-based company with clients throughout the UK, and we specialise in networks, security, voice services and platforms as a service.”

What was your company’s biggest achievement of the year?

“I’m actually proud of the number of different objectives we set and achieved for 2018.

“We’ve grown, won awards, held some great events, and got people talking about our tech and the power of digital transformation. One of our most exciting launches has to be TeleDOC – a video consultation tool for the healthcare service.

“We didn’t actually fulfil all of our objectives for 2018, but maybe we had too many. That’s what we’ve learned as we plan for 2019 – we can be so much more focused by analysing data from this year.”

How would you approach 2018 differently, given the chance?

“We’ll plan differently, as I’ve alluded to above, and we will also push internal projects through the business faster, enabling our clients to use our technology quicker.”

What are your company’s plans for the new year?

“It’s all about growth next year. We grew by 51% in 2018 and aim to expand the company by at least another 50% over the next 12 months.

“We’re also looking at our first company acquisition, we’ll be delivering TeleDOC to the market and there’s lots in store for our secure video platform.”

What’s your favourite Christmas song?

“Chris Rea, Driving Home for Christmas. It reminds me of coming back home from the Army.”
