Rockliffe Homes announces Partnership with leading UK developer Keepmoat

Residential property developer Rockliffe Homes Ltd has partnered with leading UK home builder Keepmoat Homes for its latest development, which will bring six high specification properties to the outskirts of the popular village of Norton, near Malton in North Yorkshire.

The news comes following the successful acquisition of a 2.27 acre plot of land, which boasts its own private wooded area and sits adjacent to a new Keepmoat Homes development - which was also granted planning permission to build 79 two, three and four bedroom properties on the Langton Road site in May this year.

The £3.5m Rockliffe project is set to further complement Keepmoat’s plans to bring a mix of high quality houses to suit a variety of potential buyers to the area; and according to the business a Reserved Matters Planning Application has been submitted for six properties to Ryedale District Council.

Subject to a planning approval, work is anticipated to start in early 2019, with residential property firm Carter Jonas set to be appointed to act as the sales agent at the site.

Rockliffe’s Development Director, Alex Spencer-Mills, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with Keepmoat in order to facilitate the acquisition of this land in Norton, which we believe provides an ideal location on which to build a number of high-specification, bespoke executive homes that will meet the needs of home-buyers in the area.

“Part of our unique offering is that we are not beholden to a limited range of house designs, and so we can take stock of the land in question and adapt our style and approach to deliver a truly unique development that complements and enhances its surroundings.

“On this occasion, this approach led us to a parcel of land which sits alongside a larger Keepmoat development which we felt provided an excellent opportunity for development, and we are looking forward to pressing ahead with the build once planning has been officially granted.”

Mark Leaf, Land & Partnerships Director at Keepmoat, added: “This development is in a superb location, on the edge of the village of Norton; surrounded by fantastic amenities and stunning countryside, and ideally situated for those looking to commute to York, or the East Coast.

“As part of our plans to deliver this stunning new community we are also delighted to be partnering with Rockliffe Homes, and are confident that their plans for six executive homes set in unique surroundings will serve to further enhance the development as a whole.

“We trust that this is the first of many projects that we will be working on together moving forward.”

The six Rockliffe Homes properties that make up the build are adjacent to a private wooded area and will consist of three, four bedroom houses, and three, five bedroom houses. All will benefit from a double garage, with the larger homes also boasting a private paddock.

The executive homes will also sit alongside Keepmoat’s children’s play area and a new public open space that is being designed to be in keeping with its surroundings; as well as a wooded area that is to be retained as part of the plans.

This is the latest in a raft of acquisitions for Rockliffe which is on track to continue with ambitious growth plans over the coming months.
