Jackie channels her inner elf
As part of her ongoing relationship with Northumberland Wildlife Trust, Jackie Burt, Asda Cramlington’s Community Champion donned her elf gear and headed to Northumberlandia to help support the region’s wildlife.
Not content with handing over a cheque for £275 in December, Jackie, who is based in the Manor Walks superstore, jumped at the chance to don her festive onesie and help Trust staff with the arts and crafts activities at its hugely successful Northumberlandia Santa’s Grotto event last weekend.
Channelling her inner Maria Carey, all Jackie wanted for Christmas was to meet the red suited gentleman himself and hand over boxes of mince pies to keep his elves fuelled over the course of the very windy and cold weekend.
Situated just two miles from Northumberlandia, Asda Cramlington is a great supporter the work of the wildlife charity on the Fisher Lane site, having previously donated Easter eggs as prizes for its children’s events and, following her promise to Santa, it looks like the relationship between the two organisations will continue throughout 2019.
