Builders celebrate excellent progress at Ladden Garden Village

Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes’ forthcoming Ladden Garden Village development in North Yate is progressing well with the housebuilders celebrating a number of significant milestones. The five star housebuilders’ latest development will become a brand new community with more than 2,000 homes and the first phases are beginning to take shape. The key spine road has now been complete offering easy access to new homes being built by Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes and plans are well underway on the show complexes. Construction work on the first new homes is also underway and the teams are also working on the open spaces which will form an integral part of the development. “We’re delighted by the progress already made by our team here,” said Barratt Homes managing director Russell Glimstead. “The foundations for this exciting new community have been laid – and I’m very much looking forward to witnessing the first of these impressive new homes in the next few months.” The first phases of this new development will include a range of two, three and four bedroom homes – which are perfect for a range of different lifestyles. “Ladden Garden Village is really starting to take shape here,” said David Wilson Homes managing director Ian Menham. “You can already feel the high quality of homes buyers are expecting from us here and I’m very excited to see more of the same as work continues. “The layout of the development will also provide a distinct ‘sense of place’ – with a mix of modern and sustainable home designs in a traditional setting,” added Ian. Ladden Garden Village is a brand new community within walking distance to the centre of Yate, home to the Riverside Retail & Leisure Park and Yate Shopping Centre. The medieval high street of Chipping Sodbury is just over two miles away and offers a range of charming pubs, independent shops and quaint places to eat. When complete, Ladden Garden Village will have its own local shops, nursery, primary school and local centre, so the essentials really will be on your doorstep.
